Our beliefs

We believe that learning should be fun, purposeful and challenging. Through our inspiring curriculum we aim to equip each child with the skills they need for lifelong learning as well as a passion for growth. We aim to develop confident learners, celebrating perseverance, resilience and risk taking, ensuring children welcome challenge and are not frightened to make mistakes.
We believe that by working closely with parents and the community through positive attitudes and partnerships, we can develop the whole child, meeting individual needs in a happy and nurturing ethos where differences are celebrated.

We believe that all members of our school community should work together to maintain a safe, clean and stimulating environment which encompasses not only the learning environment and school grounds, but the surrounding area also. We aim to promote sustainability and an awareness of wider global issues through our curriculum, school council and eco teams, and the links made with our local and global communities.

We believe that an appropriately structured curriculum and effective learning contribute to good behaviour. We have high expectations for all within our community to ensure that we demonstrate the very best standards of conduct, moral purpose and integrity. We are a caring community with mutual trust and respect for all;
We believe that high quality enrichment experiences through expert tuition in sports, music and the arts will lead to the best outcomes for our children.
